Journalist Bakti Bangsa Holds a Journalist Billiard Tournament in Jakarta

JAKARTA - Bakti Bangsa (JBB) journalists held a billiard tournament between journalists entitled "Every Shot Tells a Story" at Maestro Billiards Signature, Lebak Bulus, South Jakarta.

This activity is a get-together and sports competition for press people from various media platforms.

The tournament was attended by dozens of journalists from online, print, and television media from various redactions.

From the early rounds to the final match, the participants showed high enthusiasm while upholding the values of sportsmanship and togetherness.

In addition to being a venue for a billiard playing ability contest, this tournament also competes for a total prize of tens of millions of rupiah.

The prize is a form of appreciation as well as a motivation for participants to compete in a healthy manner.

Tournament Committee Chairman, Sofyan Hadi said, the match techniques were designed professionally to be competitive but still inclusive for all participants.

The match system is structured by prioritizing the principle of fair play and participant comfort during the activity.

According to Sofyan, this journalist billiard tournament aims to strengthen relations between journalists who are daily involved in reporting routines.

Through sports, it is hoped that more fluid communication and more harmonious relationships will be created.

"We want to provide a space for journalists to come together outside of work activities. Billiards was chosen because it can be enjoyed together and be a positive means of relaxation," said Sofyan on the sidelines of the event.

Founder of Jurnalis Bakti Bangsa, Feryanto Hadi, appreciated the high enthusiasm of journalists who participated in the tournament. According to him, the presence of participants from various media shows that community activities like this are very needed by the press.

Feryanto assessed that this tournament is not only a competition for sports, but also a platform to strengthen solidarity and a sense of togetherness in the midst of the increasingly complex dynamics of the world of journalism.

"Competition in the world of work is a natural thing, but togetherness and brotherhood must still be prioritized. This is where communities like JBB play a role," said Feryanto.
