Valencia Mourns, Women's Team Coach Becomes Victim of a Sinking Boat in Indonesia

JAKARTA - Spanish football club Valencia is mourning the death of B women's team coach Fernando Martin, who was a victim of a boat sinking in an accident in Labuan Bajo, Indonesia.

The news was announced by Valencia via their social media account. However, now, the upload is no longer there.

But the sad news was also conveyed by Real Madrid who also released a statement of condolence regarding this incident.

"Real Madrid, the President and the Board of Directors are deeply saddened by the death of Fernando Martin, coach of the Valencia C.F B girls' team and his three children in a boat accident in Indonesia."

"Real Madrid would like to express its deepest condolences and condolences to his wife, Andrea and Mar in this very difficult moment," wrote Real Madrid in their official account quoted on Sunday, December 28.

Fernando Martin is currently 44 years old. Meanwhile, his three children who were victims were 12, 10, and 9 years old.

The ship accident occurred on Friday, December 26. The ship was carrying 11 people consisting of six foreign tourists, namely Fernando Martin and his family, four crew members, and one tour guide.

The tourist ship had previously made a tourist trip to Kalong Island, Komodo National Park (TNK). After enjoying the tourist spot, they then moved to Padar Island to then do trekking on Padar Island. However, they experienced a disaster during the trip to Padar Island.
