AETI Aquabike Cup 2025 Completed, Hilman Kurniawan National Champion From Bangka Belitung

The 2025 AETI Aquabike Cup has been completed (doc. Special).

JAKARTA - The Gempita Belitong Cup AETI Aquabike Indonesian Championship Season 2025 Final Round will be held on Sunday, December 7, 2025. From this event, Hilman Kurniawan from Bangka Belitung won the national championship title.

Taking place from 5-7 December 2025 at the Tanjung Tinggi Geosite, Belitong, this agenda recorded a total visit of up to 30 thousand people and made it one of the largest sports tourism events in Bangka Belitung this year.

The second day of the event which took place on December 6, 2025, was the official training session for the riders which began at 09.00 WIB. Although it has not yet entered the core event, the official training agenda was lively thanks to the presence of entertainment and audiences crowding the location.

The main event, which took place on Sunday, December 7, 2025, presents the main race to determine the winner in three categories including, slalom, endurance, and circuits.

From a series of match results, a new national champion from Bangka Belitung was born, namely Hilman Kurniawan. This newcomer racer from the Seadoo Racing Team became a big surprise in the Belitung series.

The title was secured by Hilman after successfully overtaking other national racers' points and stealing the top position.

Apart from Hilman, Kanina Ramadhina won second place as the only woman in the Endurance GP1 category. Meanwhile, the world champion from Lake Toba, Boangerges Brilliant Ratag, is in third place.

Another category is no less interesting because 13-year-old Ethan Asaki Levman won at the Parallel Slamom Runabout GP4. Behind Ethan, his mother, Nita Theresia, successfully trailed the title in second place.

The mother and child title was one of the warmest and most viral moments during the Gempita Belitong event.

The General Chairperson of AETI, Harwendro Adityo, then also expressed his great appreciation for the implementation of this agenda. He is also optimistic that a similar event can be held the following year.

"I see Gempita Belitong as strong evidence that national events can be held with high standards even in a short preparation time."

"The presence of tens of thousands of viewers shows how much potential Belitung has in sport tourism. This is the first step towards a bigger event in the years to come," said Harwendro in an official statement received Tuesday, December 9, 2025.

Meanwhile, the General Chairperson of the Central IMI, Moreno Suprapto, did not escape giving praise to Belitung as the host.

"Belitung is very beautiful to visit. I think drivers and tourists feel the same way. With beautiful nature and warm society, Belitung has great potential as a center for Indonesian sports tourism," he said.
