JAKARTA Early-aged women's soccer tournament MilkLife Soccer Challenge (MLSC) Jakarta Series I 2025-2026 managed to break the record number of participants in the history of approximately two years of implementation.

The MLSC Jakarta Series I 2025-2026 tournament phase will take place on 18-23 November 2025 at the Kingkong Soccer Arena and Atang Sutresna Kopassus Stadium, Cijantung, East Jakarta.

The MilkLife Soccer Challenge Director Teddy Tjahjono said that this significant increase in participants showed students' interest in playing football was getting bigger.

"So the implementation in Jakarta is a closing series in 2025, where there is a record breaking of almost three thousand participants. This is the highest number in the second year of implementation," he said.

The participants of the women's soccer tournament initiated by the Djarum Foundation and MilkLife Sports Service in the Jakarta series were 2,695 students from 156 Elementary Schools and Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) from Jakarta and its surroundings.

There are 77 schools that are newcomers to the Jakarta series. Overall they are members of 240 teams consisting of 76 KU 10 and 164 KU 12 teams.

Teddy said that the increase in participants made them even more optimistic about the future of Indonesian women's football. In addition to participant quantities, the quality graph also continues to rise.

"We really believe in the public trust that has been well built. For next year's series, we really believe that the quantity and quality side of the game will also improve," he said.

The enthusiasm of students in Jakarta to participate in the MilkLife Soccer Challenge continues to surge in every event.

In the 2024 MLSC Jakarta Series I which took place on May 25-28, 2024, it was recorded that 368 students were involved. This number increased to 1,359 in the 2024 Jakarta Series II MLSC on November 6-10.

Ranking also occurred at MLSC Jakarta 2025 from April 30 to May 4. In the series, the number of participants increased again to 1,601 students.
