JAKARTA – PB Djarum successfully secured 16 titles to secure overall champion status in the 2025 Polytron Muria Cup Sirnas C.

The tournament was held from November 11-16, 2025, at the Djarum Jati Sports Hall in Kudus, Central Java. PD Djarum performed dominantly, dominating all 23 events.

PB Djarum fielded a total of 115 athletes for the tournament. In the final, the team successfully placed 26 representatives in 17 events.

PB Djarum Deputy Manager, Leonard Holvy De Pauw, stated that this tournament was the perfect opportunity for young athletes, especially those at the junior level, to gain experience before entering more competitive tournaments.

"Although some of our U-19 players did not participate due to their commitments at the 2025 Indonesia International Challenge, we still have many top athletes in other age groups," said Holvy.

In addition to aiming for overall championship, this tournament provides an opportunity to earn national points as capital for competing in the Sirnas Premier and the 2025 PBSI National Championship.

Holvy said that holding this tournament allows him and his coaching staff to monitor the progress of the PB Djarum General Audition graduates.

"So, this tournament is not only for earning national points but also serves as a selection tool for us to field players in future tournaments," he said.

Meanwhile, Polytron Commercial Director, Tekno Wibowo, hopes that this tournament, initiated by the Bakti Olahraga Djarum Foundation, Polytron, and PBSI, will motivate the athletes to achieve greater achievements at a higher level.

"Our support for this tournament is not just a form of participation, but a concrete manifestation of our commitment to continue being present, supporting, and growing with the people of Central Java," he said.

The Chairman of the PBSI Central Java Provincial Board, Basri Yusuf, also welcomed the success of the Polytron Muria Cup Sirnas C 2025.

He hopes that the competitive experience and national points earned by the athletes in this tournament will equip them for greater success as professional athletes who will one day bring pride to the nation on the global stage.

"We also express our deepest gratitude and appreciation to the PBSI and all the sponsors who have supported this championship," said Basri.

In total, 1,238 athletes from various regions in Indonesia participated in the tournament, with a total prize pool of Rp636 million. There were 23 titles up for grabs.
