Liga Kita Festival, The Moment To Introduce 3X3 Street Football Involving Patrice Evra

JAKARTA - The Offside Corp Liga Kita Festival is an introduction and promotion to street football in Indonesia. Presenting the 3X3, 1X1 tournaments and the Simpati Clash of Star, this event also involved former international football player Patrice Evra.

Perdana digelar, festival ini diharapkan bisa rutin terselenggar setiap tahunnya dengan lokasi penyelenggaraan yang lebih luas lagi. Hal itu disampaikan oleh Kunto Wiyoga selaku Chief Strategic & Operations Offside Corp.

Our initiative is to create a soccer cache tournament, to promote the home-based street football culture. So it can be played anytime and anywhere," said Kunto Wiyoga in Cilandak Square, Jakarta on Saturday, November 8.

"So this is the first exhibition 3x3. The point is there is also 1x1, now the community. Tomorrow afternoon there will be 6 content creators, including Patrice Evra who wants to play against content creators in Indonesia," he added.

Furthermore, the LigaKita Festival is also recognized by Kunto as an arena to promote the Indonesian football climate, which apparently fits quite well with the pattern of street football. Moreover, the concept of using a field that is smaller in size and the number of players who are slightly more accommodating today's life.

"There is no need for 11 players, no need for 5 players, play alone and then withdraw two friends. So play anywhere and anytime you can. We have a coaching clinic program whose long-term goal is to have a silabus, although we don't know yet whether it can be connected to the federation ," he said again.

To celebrate this event, Patrice Evra will also be present at the top event which will take place at Cilandak Town Square, Jakarta on Sunday, November 9. Not only that, he will also be involved in the coaching clinic agenda with selected participants from the previous five cities which will be held at Asiop Field, Cempaka Putih.

"We plan to make this event every year, this is the first time for Offside Corp and this series of events to be called trial. God willing, next year we will bring in international players again, maybe around 2-3 players with the same series of events; coaching clinics, Crush of stars, will attract the children again to Jakarta," said Kunto.

Kunto considered this inaugural event successful because it was reflected in the high enthusiasm of the participants. From that, he plans to involve more cities in the upcoming edition and hopes that this agenda can be a training event for young people.

"Then there will be another street tournament like this. But we will distribute it to approximately 8-11 cities next year. This is our initiative to form an intellectual property based on entertainment. So when we talk about our goal of having a commercial goal, of course, in the long term we want to increase Indonesian football from grassroot, 3x3 whose spirit is because there are fewer football fields in Indonesia," he said.
