Alisson Becker Will Be Absent From Defending Liverpool And Brazil Due To Hamstring Injuries

JAKARTA - Liverpool manager Arne Slot confirmed that goalkeeper Alisson Becker will be out for several weeks due to a hamstring injury.

Alisson was replaced in the 56th minute when Liverpool lost 0-1 to Galatasaray on Wednesday, October 2, 2025. He suffered an injury after making a save from Victor Osimhen's chances.

He will now miss a trip to Chelsea on Saturday, October 4, 2025. Georgia player Giorgi Mamardashvili - who joined Liverpool in the summer of 2024 but spent last season on loan in Valencia - will replace Alisson.
