Mourinho: I'm Part Of Chelsea's History, And Vice Versa

JAKARTA - Jose Mourinho will return to Stamford Bridge on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, early morning WIB. This time, the arrival of the Portuguese coach was a guest.

Chelsea will host Benfica, Mourinho's troops, in the second match of the 2025/2026 Champions League group phase.

After leaving London, Mourinho's return to Stamford Bridge was never warmly welcomed by Chelsea supporters. However, this time he wanted to make sure that there was no more negative reception when he came.

Mourinho said that he could not be separated from the history of the success of the Blues, as well as Chelsea, which has become the history of his career.

Despite having an impression story and still loving Chelsea, Mourinho is now realistic. His arrival at Stamford Bridge was to beat the Blues and bring home full points with Benfica.

"I've played here with Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United, and Inter Milan. In 90 minutes, I don't think about where I am or who I play with."

"So, I said that I am no longer blue. I am (Benfica) red now. I want to win. But, of course, I will always be blue."

"I don't think Chelsea supporters ridiculed me (in the match against Benfica). At least on the street, they were the ones who always bothered me, to be photographed and asked for a signature," said Mourinho.
