Korea Open 2025: 9 Indonesian Representatives To The Round Of 16

Amri Syahnawi/Nita Violina Marwah are still continuing their journey at the Korea Open 2025 (doc. PBSI).

JAKARTA Indonesia managed to place as many as nine representatives in the second round of the Super 500 BWF Korea Open 2025 badminton tournament.

The remaining series of matches from the first round of the tournament were completed on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, WIB night. Indonesia has succeeded in adding seven tickets.

From the men's singles sector, four representatives who fought from the first half all managed to qualify. They are Alwi Farhan, Jonatan Christie, Anthony Sinisuka Ginting, and Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo.

Chico got the last ticket. He secured a place in the second half without finishing the match because his opponent, Prannoy HS, was withdrawn due to injury.

Putri Kusuma Wardani as the only hope of Indonesian women's arrears also managed to move her foot into the second half after beating Anupama Upadhyaya from India.

The other two tickets that Indonesia got today were from the mixed doubles of Jafar Hidayatullah/Felisha Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu and Amri Syahnawi/Nita Violina Marwah.

The two tickets that were obtained on the first day yesterday were donated by Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri and Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti.

Just like women's singles, the women's and men's doubles sectors also only have one representative each.

The good luck of these representatives unfortunately failed to be followed by Leo Rolly Carnando/Bagas Maulana, Adnan Maulana/Indah Cahya Sari Jamil, Muhammad Rian Ardianto/Yeremia Rambitan, and Mohammad Zaki Ubaidillah.
