Joseph Parker Gives Hard Warning To Fabio Wardley

JAKARTA WBO world intermweight champion Joseph Parker gave a stern warning to Fabio Wardley and at the same time emphasized that they were at different levels.

Both names are scheduled to fight at the O2 Arena, London, England, on October 25, 2025. In addition to fighting for the WBO interm belt, they will also risk the WBA belt.

Parker, who has been waiting for a long chance against Oleksandr Usyk, said Wardley had absolutely no experience to beat him.

"I've fought fighters with a hard hit. I'm definitely a different fighter from his previous opponent (Wardley)," Parker said.

The New Zealand boxer came to the fight later after beating important names, such as Zhilei Zang, Deontay Wilder, and finally Martin Bakole in February 2025.

These important experiences make Parker also have very high confidence to beat British Wardley at home.

"There are several levels (in boxing). I believe in the experience I have and what I've done in New Zealand, I'm excited to know what I can do in the ring," Parker said.

Parker was actually ordered to undergo a mandatory WBO class match against Usyk. At first they were given 30 days to negotiate.

However, Usyk then applied for an extension of the negotiation period. WBO also approved the request and extended it to 90 days.

If you want to have a chance against Usyk then Parker needs to win against Wardley at the O2 Arena later. However, Usyk also has the option to empty the WBO belt.
