Persis Solo Officially Introduces Ex Persib, Gervane Kastaneer, As New Power

Gervane Kastaneer is Persis Solo's new ammunition for the 2025/2026 Super League (doc. Persis Solo).

JAKARTA - Persis Solo officially introduces their new players to navigate the 2025/2026 Super League. On Monday, August 11, 2025, former Persib Bandung player, Gervane Kastaneer, became the new player for Laskar Samber's life.

With the contract agreement for the next season, this Curacao player admits that he is happy to be able to continue his career in Indonesia. Having defended Persib for half a season, Gervane admitted that it was not difficult to adapt.

"My family and I really enjoy being in Indonesia. I love the competition. Here, a very good competition."

"In my opinion, this season will be even stronger. When I went to strengthen the Curacao National Team, my mind was set on playing for Persis Solo because I wanted to play in Indonesia. Gervane is known as a versatile player. He can be placed as a winger or midfielder. His arrival is expected to provide additional options for Persis Solo coach Peter de Roo in carrying out his tactics.

The man who was born in Rotterdam, June 9, 1996, is a graduate of SC Feyennoord's academy. He has also strengthened a number of clubs in Europe, such as CD Castellon (Spain), PEC Zwolle, ADO Den Hague, NAC Breda, FC Eindhoven, FC Dordrecht (Netherlands),MINAsslautern (Germany), Hearts (Scotland), to Coventry City (England).

Even though he came late because Laskar Samber Life had already played the inaugural match of the 2025/2026 Super League by overthrowing Madura United, Gervane admitted that there was no problem. He admitted that he didn't need to adapt much because he already knew the Indonesian league.

"I don't think I need to adapt much because I have experience in this league. So, in this case, I hope to make a direct contribution," he said.

In the second week of the Super League, Persis Solo will have guests from Persija Jakarta on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Manahan Stadium.

Gervane admitted that he couldn't wait to play and feel the atmosphere at the Manahan Stadium.

"Yes, I am very excited to play in Manahan soon. I will be very happy to be able to meet the supporters and have a good season."

"I saw Persis' first game and the players showed great energy and played really well. It actually motivated me to play even better," said the player.

Laskar Samber Life now has eight foreign players. They are Sho Yamamoto, Jordy Tutuarima, Clayton Santos, Xandro Schenk, Fuad Sule, Andriano Castanheira, Kodai Tanaka, and Gervane Kastaneer.
