SEA V League 2025 Results: Indonesia Failed To Revenge, Losing 0-3 Against Thailand

The Indonesian Volleyball national team has not been able to win in the 2025 SEA V League (doc. PBVSI).

JAKARTA The bad results of the Indonesian Women's Volleyball National Team in the 2025 SEA V League continue. Most recently, they lost 0-3 (16-25, 16-25, 21-25) against Thailand in Nanh Binh, Vietnam, on Friday, August 8, 2025.

Coach Octavian did not change the squad in the second leg of the 2025 SEA V League. He played Megawati Hanggetri Pertiwi, Ersandrina Devega Salsabila, Mediol S Yoku, Shella Bernadetha, Tisya Amalya Putri, and Asih Titih Pangestuti at the beginning of the match.

The match was tight at the start of the first set. Indonesia was still able to put up a fight in the first 10 points until it drew 5-5.

Thailand then began to dominate after scoring three consecutive points to lead. After an 8-5 advantage, the numbers from the White Elephant Country squad were very difficult to stop.

They advanced with a seven-point advantage of 17-10, on the other hand, Indonesia's figure rate was very slow. Octavian's squad then had to settle for handing over the first set.

At the start of the second set, Indonesia put up a tougher fight and managed to lead 5-3. However, Thailand immediately responded four points to take the lead.

Megawati and colleagues still did not relax their attacks and the figure distance was tight. However, the opposing team did not provide an opportunity for Indonesia to be in front of them.

The sale and purchase of attacks went hotter in the third set. After Indonesia had taken the lead at the start of the set, Thailand got up and gave a fierce battle until it finally won.

This is Indonesia's fourth defeat in the 2025 SEA V League. Previously in the first leg in Thailand, the Garuda Pertiwi squad did not win once in three matches.
