He made his breakthrough in 20 matches at Besiktas as assistant coach of Giovanni van Bronckhorst. However, while working as head coach, Van Gastel once escorted NAC Breda to get a promotion ticket to Eredivisie in 2023/2024.

Before his hands held PSIM, Jean-Paul van Gastel had experience in feeling the Asian football atmosphere, to be precise with Chinese club Guangzhou City.

Together with Guangzhou City, Van Gastel started his career as assistant coach of Giovanni van Bronckhorst in the 2020-2021 range. Furthermore, in the 2021-2022 period, Van Gastel was given the trust of as head coach of the club who had brought the name Guangzhou R&F.

Officially, Peter De Roo became part of Laskar Sambernyawa on June 27, 2025. One of the key factors that made Persis Solo a choice for Peter de Roo was his long track record in the Asian and Australian football arenas.

In 2017, De Roo's move continued into Southeast Asia when he was appointed as Technical Director of the Malaysian Football Federation (FAM).

In the last three years, he has led Singaporean club, Palestine Khalsa, and ended his adventure there in 2025.

Johnny Jansen occupies the position of Bali United coach left by Stefano Cugurra. The coach, who is currently 50 years old and has a Pro UEFA license, previously served as head coach at PEC Zwolle, a club competing at the Eredivisie.

In the Dutch League, the club occupies the 10th position out of a total of 18 teams competing in the Eredivisie. Zwolle is a club of one of the Indonesian National Team players, Eliano Reijnders.

Jansen started his coaching career from the youth team of the Eredivisie club, Heerenveen U-19 and U-21 before finally managing Heerenveen's senior team. After a long career in the Netherlands, he also had time to coach at the Lebanese club, Safa Sporting Club, before accepting an offer from PEC Zwolle.

Johnny Jansen also invited two experienced assistant coaches from the Netherlands, namely Ronnie Pander, who was previously Jansen's assistant at PEC Zwolle. The second assistant coach is Jeffrey Dennis Talan, who previously served as assistant coach at Almere City, a club that also competed in Eredivisie. He is also a coach of the current Indonesian national team midfielder, Thom Haye.
