Indonesia U-17 Calls 30 Players For The 2025 Independence Cup

JAKARTA - The U-17 Indonesian national team will appear in the 2025 Independence Cup which will take place at the North Sumatra Main Stadium, Medan, on August 12-18, 2025. For this agenda, 30 names of players were called to strengthen the team.

The 2025 Independence Cup is an important tournament for the U-17 Indonesian national team. You see, this event can be a warm-up moment before appearing in the 2025 U-17 World Cup in November 2025.

Apart from Indonesia, there are a total of four teams that will appear in the 2025 Independence Cup. The two teams that have been confirmed to participate in the tournament are South Africa U-17 and Tajikistan U-17.

South Africa U-17 and Tajikistan U-17 are also participating teams for the 2025 U-17 World Cup which will take place in Qatar on 3-27 November 2025. As for one other team, PSSI will still confirm it.

For this agenda, Nova Arianto as the head coach has called 30 names. Of the total calls, several names have become the mainstay of the U-17 Indonesian national team when appearing in the 2025 U-17 Asian Cup.

Mathew Baker, Fadly Alberto, M. Zahaby Gholy, and Evandra Florasta returned to the squad. In addition, there are the names of Dafa Gasemi goalkeepers, Daniel Alfredo, and Algazani Dwi who are the mainstays of the back lines.
