Venezia's Boss Admits He Has To Hang Up A Mahal Banderol For Jay Idzes

JAKARTA - Rumors of the continuation of the future of the Indonesian National Team (Timnas) player, Jay Idzes, in Venice have not been resolved.

So far, there are four Serie A clubs targeting Idzes in recent weeks, namely Udinese, Torino, Sassuolo, and Pisa.

However, until now Idzes' move has not materialized. Related to this, there are reports in Italy that one of the reasons is because Venezia has set a high price to release the player who still has a contract until 2027.

Filippo Antonelli as General Manager and Director of Sports Venezia then responded to this situation. According to him, regarding the transfer of play, it must be done in accordance with the club's policy.

"Does the transfer have to go according to the club's wishes? Of course, that's the number one rule. If we don't sell players optimally, then the club owner will be angry with me."

So far, it is known that Venezia is selling a high price to release Jay Idzes. The club relegated to Serie B is claimed to have asked up to 10 million euros (equivalent to Rp189 billion) to release the captain.

On the other hand, Jay Idzes admits that he still wants to stay in Venice. However, the former Go Ahead Eagles player did not close the door to leaving Venice.

"I am the captain of Venezia and I am happy to be here. Everyone knows, but there is a transfer window and everything can always happen."

"We'll see how it goes later, but I'm here and happy to be here. I'll defend the Vereza color," said Idzes earlier.
