Hokky And Jens Raven Until The PSSI Chairman Called, Asking For Focus On Defending Indonesia U-23

JAKARTA - Two U-23 Indonesian national team players, Hokky Caraka and Jens Ravens, were contacted directly by the PSSI General Chair, Erick Thohir. By telephone, Erick asked the two to stay focused on defending Garuda Muda and not be affected by pressure from outside the field.

Erick Thohir admitted that he was concerned about the public pressure experienced by young players, especially in competitive and high-information situations.

To Jans Raven, Erick also gave a message not to be complacent after appearing to stand out in the group stage.

"I said, you have to be ready, but please focus. Don't because you scored six goals, keep sure like this. It's still young," he said.

Erick further emphasized that the role of PSSI federation is not only technical and professional, but also needs to be a moral companion to the players.

"We as PSSI, as the General Chair, must also be the parents of players sometimes. Not only treats them very professionally. That's what we have to take care of," he said.
