JAKARTA - New player Luka Modric and Mexican striker Santiago Gimenez will not participate in AC Milan's pre-season tour of Asia-Pacific.
Milan coach, Massimiliano Allegri, has brought 26 players on tour who will bring his team together in three friendly matches in nine days.
They will face Arsenal in Singapore on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, local time, before facing the Liverpool Premier League champions three days later in Hong Kong.
AC Milan will end their tour against Perth Glory on July 31, 2025 in Australia.
Modric is currently on vacation after playing for Real Madrid at the Club World Cup 2025.

The Croatian midfielder joined AC Milan as a free agent last week after leaving Bernabeu as the most accomplished player in their history with 28 titles.
"We look forward to it on August 4, 2025. He is a champion and will level up his technique and leadership," Allegri said of Modric ahead of his team's pre-season tour.
Gimenez is also scheduled for pre-season training on August 4, 2025. The Mexican National Team player is on vacation after helping his country win the 10th Concaf Gold Cup trophy earlier this month.
He scored five goals in 14 league appearances for AC Milan since joining in February 2025 from Feyennoord.
Meanwhile, the Rossoneri finished eighth in Serie A for the 2024/2025 season and failed to qualify for Europe. They have ambitions to break the Champions League qualifiers in Serie A 2025/2026.
"Our main goal is to return to play in the Champions League, which will not be easy as there are very tough and competitive teams in Italy," Allegri said.
Allegri recently returned to AC Milan for a second term replacing the fired Sergio Conceicao. He brought the Rossoneri to the league title in 2011.
