JAKARTA The FIBA 3X3 Women's Series Jakarta and FIBA 3X3 Challenger 2025 tournaments in Jakarta are an opportunity to encourage national basketball players to chase tickets to the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.
The two events, which are part of the 2025 Jakarta Inaspro 3X3 event, will take place on July 24-27, 2025 at the East Parking Plaza Gelora Bung Karno Complex, Senayan, Jakarta.
Director of Inaspro, Ferry Kono, said that the opportunity to host and fight the best talents from other countries should be an opportunity for Indonesian players to learn.
"We also hope that after four days of this event, Perbasi and the Government will have a clear road map so that later we will have a qualification opportunity for Los Angeles 2028," said Ferry Kono.

The series of Inaspro 3X3 Jakarta 2025 tournaments will begin with the FIBA 3X3 Women's Series on 24 and 25 July 2025. FIBA 3X3 Challenger then takes place on 26 and 27 July 2025.
Complete preparations have been made both by the organizers and teams that will compete with representatives of other countries. Indonesia as the host has dispatched four teams.
The four Indonesian representatives at Inaspro 3X3 Jakarta 2025 each consist of three teams at FIBA 3X3 Challenger Jakarta and one team at FIBA 3X3 Women's.
The three men's teams that will compete are Jakarta Mandiri, Batavia Mandiri, and South Jakarta Inaspro. As for the women's tournament, Indonesia will send a team called Jakarta.
In line with Ferry Kono, Secretary General of the Perbasi DPP, Nirmala Dewi, said that FIBA 3X3 is one of the prestigious events that can help them form Indonesia's strength to maintain the opportunity in Los Angeles later.
"If our calculations are on paper, discipline with what is already there, hopefully we can. However, the struggle is not easy. From the Head of Perbasi, he believes in the process," said Nirmala.
Meanwhile, the Deputy for Sports Achievement Improvement at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Surono, said he was happy that Indonesia continued to win the trust of FIBA to hold various prestigious basketball events.
"Hopefully this tournament will be followed by coaching in Indonesia in the context of Road to the Los Angeles Olympics, especially 3X3," he said.
Other teams that will compete in the 2025 FIBA 3X3 Challenger Jakarta are Miami (United States), Riffa (Bahrain), Hangzhou (China), Chongming (China), Utrecht (Netherlands), Marijampole (Lithuania), Barcelona (Spain), Lugano (Switzerland), Taipei WanBao (China Taipei), Mataro (Spain), Manila (Philippines), Bucharest Stinta (Rumania), and Siliguri IB3L (India).
Meanwhile, the participants of the FIBA 3X3 Women's Series Jakarta 2025 are Spain, Australia, Ulaanbaatar Amazons (Mongolia), Christchurch (New Zealand), Singapore, Uganda, Philippines, United States, Bonn Basketers (Germany), Japan, Thailand, Orleans (France), Puerto Rico, Mongolia, and Romania.
The Inaspro 3X3 Jakarta 2025 tickets are divided into five categories, namely the Area Festival, Daily Pass, Session 1, Session 2, and 4-Day Pass. Of all these categories, the cheapest is an area festival for IDR 10,000.
