Okto, Raja Sapta Oktohari's nickname, emphasized that the decision to include these six sports was based on urgency, especially for boxing and table tennis branches that will take part in the 2025 SEA Games.
"Every decision taken is not solely a personal decision, but this is an IOC order and we cannot be separated from world sports governance. Every step, every way we do, is nothing but for Red and White," he said.
The flying plate and tug of war will also appear as a demonstration at the 2025 SEA Games. The camel racing will be competed in the 2025 Asian Youth Games (AYG) and Islamic Solidarity Games (ISG).
