Tottenham Approves 55 Million Pound Transfer Fee For Mohammed Kudus

Tottenham Hotspur has approved a fee of around 55 million pounds (74.7 million US dollars) to recruit West Ham midfielder Mohammed Kudus.

In ESPN's report, the Ghana international has approved a six-year contract, with medical tests to be carried out in the next 48 hours.

ESPN previously reported that West Ham had rejected a 50 million offer from Spurs.

The 24-year-old has a release clause worth 85 million in his contract that can only be activated by other Premier League clubs, but West Ham is willing to let him go at a lower cost.

Kudus, who was previously on Chelsea's radar, joined West Ham in 2023 from Ajax and emerged as the main target for Spurs' new manager Thomas Frank this summer.

He has played 80 games for West Ham, scored 19 goals and contributed 13 assists.
