JAKARTA - The Champion of the Thai League (Thai League 1) for four consecutive seasons, Buriram United, officially brought in the Indonesian National Team (Timnas) player, Shayne Pattynama, for the 2025/2026 season.
Pattynama came to meet the quota of ASEAN players in Buriram, who also announced five other new players, namely Ilhan Fandi from Singapore, and four local players consisting of Elias Dolah, Korraphat Nareechan, Shinnaphat Leeaoh, and Pathompol Charoenrattanapirom.
"Buram United has reached an agreement to sign a talented Indonesian left-back, Shayne Pattynama, who has terminated her contract with KAS Eupen to add to the danger of the 2025/2026 season," the Thai club wrote on its Instagram account on Monday, July 7, 2025.
The 26-year-old left-back came after playing 23 games over a year of KAS Eupen uniform in the second-level Belgian league (Challenger Pro League).

Pattynama is without a club for approximately two months after her contract was terminated by KAS Eupen in early May 2025.
At the club nicknamed Thunder Castle, Pattynama will wear the number 20 jersey, which was last worn by Laos player, Lamnao Singto, in the 2008/2009 season.

Pattynama, became an Indonesian citizen at the end of January 2023 and has played for the Indonesian national team 11 times since debuting in June 2023 in a friendly match against Argentina.
He scored one goal in the opening match of the 2026 World Cup Qualification Second Round when Indonesia lost 1-5 to Iraq in Basra.
Pattynama became the third Indonesian player to play in Thai League 1 after Pratama Arhan at Bangkok United and Asnawi Mangkualam at Port FC.
