Janice Tjen Borong Dua Holds At ITF W35 Taipei

JAKARTA Indonesian women's tennis player, Janice Tjen, won two titles from ITF W35 Taipei 2025 after she won the women's singles sector on Sunday, June 29, 2025.

The title succeeded in completing his success the previous day when he won the doubles title with South Korean tennis player Sohyun Park.

This score made Janice recorded two titles in one event for three consecutive weeks after ITF W35 Luzhou and ITF W50 Taizhou.

"Single titles and doubles in a row. Thank you to Sohyun for playing with me. I enjoy every moment with you out there," said Janice in her social media upload.

The tennis player who finished the top seed won the single title at Taipei after defeating Japanese tennis player Momoko Kobori, with a final score of 4-6, 6-1, and 6-2.

On his way to winning the title, Janice had experienced problems in the second half when he faced South Korean tennis player Yeonwoo Ku. On that occasion, he was forced to fight in three tight sets.

Janice then went smoothly to the final round. He reached the final party after defeating his partner in the doubles sector, Sohyun Park, with two straight sets in the semifinals.

The same thing happened in the doubles sector. Janice/Sohyun advanced to the final round without losing the set. They managed to beat second seed Yu-Yun Li/Eri Shimizu with a score of 6-1 and 7-5 to win the title.

The ITF W35 Taipei event was also the final stop for Janice for the Asian tour, after hunting for the title in South Korea since last month, which made her the ITF World Tennis Tour Player of the Month for May 2025.

"Tur Asia has ended for now. It's time to rest and get back to work," wrote Janice.

Janice took home two ITF W35 titles in Ginseng Country. The women's doubles bronze winner of the Hangzhou Asian Games 2023 with Aldila Sutjiadi won the ITF W35 Goyang tournament and ITF W35 Andong in May 2025.

He also reached the singles final and won the doubles title with Saki Imamura from Japan on the ITF W35 Goyang in the first week of May 2025.

Continuing the tour to the Bamboo Curtain Country, Janice won ITF W15 Manshaan on Sunday, June 8, 2025. She was also runner-up with Priska Nugroho in the indoor hard field tournament.
