JAKARTA The PBSI Kudus Regency Management and Sports Service Djarum Foundation held the HappyMinton Festival 2025 Series 1 to continue efforts to foster talents at an early age level.

The festival will take place on June 23-24, 2025 at GOR Djarum, Jati, Kudus, Central Java. This event continued the previous two events that received positive responses from participants and the school.

A total of 345 elementary school-age students in grades one to three participated in this event. In addition, this event involved 200 PAUD and TK students from 10 schools in Kudus and its surroundings in a number of games and playgrounds.

The Djarum Foundation Sports Service Director Program, Yoppy Rosimin, hopes that this festival can foster pleasure and love for badminton from an early age level.

"This is important to maintain the badminton chain which aims to prepare a golden badminton generation through a pleasant competition," said Yoppy.

The HappyMinton Festival is a benchmark for elementary school students assisted by the Kudus PBSI Regency Pengkab in terms of progress of capabilities. The schools involved have also routinely undergone badminton extracurricular.

Chairman of the PBSI Kudus Regency, Yuni Kartika, said that the enthusiasm of the SenengMinton Festival 2025 Series 1 participants was very good. This is because schools participating in festivals have routinely carried out badminton extracurricular.

"We also see the development of badminton in every existing school. So far, the interest and quality have been quite good because the SenengMinton Festival has been held the third time," said Yuni.

The two SenengMinton Festival series were previously held last year. Each Series 1 takes place in February 2024 and Series 2 takes place in December 2024.

The SenengMinton Festival has a total of seven types of competitions, namely service to target, shuttle run, pyramid shuttlecock, throwing the shuttlecock, zig zag run, run, and drive target.

Each race is designed to train motor skills, coordinate, and introduce the basics of badminton engineering in the form of a fun game.

Each school sends three teams containing five students (three men and two women) who must work together to solve every challenge.

The SenengMinton Festival is planned to continue to four other cities by 2025. The cities in question are Semarang, Solo, Purwokerto, and Magelang.
