Inter Miami Owner David Beckham Repeated His 50th Birthday

JAKARTA - Inter Miami CF owner and former Manchester United legend David Beckham celebrated his 50th birthday on Friday, May 2, 2025.

Beckham, who has enjoyed a 20-year playing career, won a historic treble with Manchester United in the 1998-1999 season after they beat Bayern Munich in the Champions League final with two goals in injury time.

Gary Neville, who played with Beckham in the Manchester United season which won trebles, wished his former Instagram team-mate a happy birthday.

"Happy 50th birthday, my friend. You're the best! Calm down today for once."

"Renunaks everything you have achieved and done in the first 50 years of your life. We have won, lost, laughed and cried, but have had the most extraordinary moments together."

"I can still see our mother and father among the crowds. Everything you have done is the result of humility, concern, and hard work."

"I am proud of you and most importantly, I entrust my life to you," wrote Neville.

This productive midfielder made his debut for the England National Team in 1996 and later captained the team for six years. He made 115 appearances for the Three Lions and scored 17 goals.

Beckham was the first and only player to score in three separate World Cup tournaments for England, namely in 1998, 2002, and 2006.

After a brilliant playing career across Europe, including Real Madrid, AC Milan, and Paris Saint-Germain, Beckham retired in 2013 after playing at LA Galaxy.

Five years later, in 2018, he launched the MLS team, Inter Miami, which now consists of players such as Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.
