Asnawi Mangkualam And Muhammad Ferarri Enter The ASEAN All-Stars Squad

JAKARTA - Two Indonesian national team players, Asnawi Mangkualam and Muhammad Ferarri are on the ASEAN All-Stars players who will fight the Premier League giant, Manchester United in a friendly match.

This proud news was officially announced by The Asean Football's Instagram account. In his upload, the account states that Asnawi and Ferarri are ready to participate in this friendly match.

The summons of Asnawi and Ferarri is clearly an acknowledgment of the quality and potential of the two talented Indonesian young players.

"Two Indonesian mainstay players who previously appeared in the 2024 ASEAN Championships are reportedly ready to join the ASEAN All-Stars team for a friendly match against Manchester United!", wrote @theaseanfootball in a caption to his upload quoted on Sunday, April 20.

The match against Manchester United is part of the club's pre-season tour nicknamed the Red Devils. In the schedule, MU will face a team consisting of soccer stars from various countries in Southeast Asia.

This exciting match is scheduled to take place at the Bukit Jalil Stadium, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on May 28, 2025.

Prior to Asnawi and Ferarri, several other ASEAN top players had also been confirmed to join the ASEAN All-Stars squad, including Bounphachan Bounkong (Laos), Nguyen Quang Hai (Vietnam), Joao Pedro (Timor Leste), and Andres Neto (Kamboja). The total number of players who will strengthen the ASEAN dream team has yet to be announced.
