Orleans Masters 2025: Conquer South Korean Pair, Rehan/Gloria Qualify For Final

JAKARTA - Mixed doubles pair Rehan Naufal Kusharjanto/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja qualified for the Orleans Masters 2025 final round on Saturday, March 8, 2025, WIB night.

They got tickets after repatriating a couple from South Korea, Lee Jong Min/Chae Yu Jung, in a rubber game 21-16, 18-21, and 21-13, at Palais des Sports.

Rehan/Gloria played the semifinal match with the advantage of a one-day break. The reason is, their opponents at the Hoo Pang Ron/Cheng Su Yin final quarter withdrew due to injury.

According to a News Straits Times report, the decision to withdraw from Malaysia's representative occurred because Cheng suffered an ankle injury due to slipping on the stairs after his match on Thursday, March 6, 2025.

This situation made Rehan/Gloria do not need to sweat to reach the semifinals and then repatriate the seventh seed.

On the way to the Rehan/Gloria finals, they performed amazingly. One of their most impressive games was when they won a landslide victory over the first seed, Chen Tang Jie/Toh Ee Wei, in the second half.

Rehan/Gloria are the only Indonesian representatives left in this Super 300 BWF level tournament. Total Indonesia sent as many as eight representatives to this event.

This is the second consecutive final secured by Rehan/Gloria. The couple earlier last week also managed to enter the finals at the German Open 2025.
