Persija Vs Persib: More Than Two Thousand Joint Personnel Deployed

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya has prepared 2,126 joint personnel to secure the 2024/2025 Liga 1 match between Persija Jakarta vs Persib Bandung at Patriot Candrabhaga Stadium, Bekasi, Sunday, February 16, 2025, at 15.30 WIB.

"We have alerted 2,126 joint personnel to secure Persija vs Persib football matches at Patriot Candrabhaga Stadium, Bekasi City, on Sunday," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol. Ade Ary Syam Indradi in an official statement in Jakarta, Saturday, February 15, 2025.

Ade Ary explained that the joint personnel came from Polda Metro Jaya, Polres Metro Bekasi City, Polres Metro Bekasi, TNI, Pemda, and other related parties.

"They will be placed at several points in the Patriot Candrabhaga Stadium area, starting from the entrance, location of the match, to the area around the stadium," he said.

Ade Ary also appealed to supporters not to carry prohibited items such as firecrackers, flares, sharp weapons, or alcoholic beverages into the stadium.

"We urge all parties to maintain security and order at the location of the match," he said again.

He also hopes that the supporters who attend can keep the atmosphere conducive, remain polite, and do not experience anarchism or destruction of public facilities.

Ade Ary also informed that traffic flow arrangements would be carried out situationally around the Patriot Candrabhaga Stadium area to anticipate traffic jams.

"For road users to find alternative routes and avoid the area around the stadium during the match," he said.

Ade Ary further emphasized that the security forces will act decisively against spectators who carry firecrackers, flares, or fireworks.

However, he ensured that all personnel on duty would prioritize a humanist approach.

"To all personnel involved in security remains humane, we serve our brothers and sisters who will watch football matches. No one carries firearms in security," he said.

Persija Jakarta is now in third place in the 2024/2025 Liga 1 standings with 39 points from 22 matches, 10 points adrift of Persib Bandung at the top.
