2025 PB Djarum Partner Club Championship Completed Held

The 2025 PB Djarum Partners Club Championship was attended by 439 athletes from 28 PB Djarum partner clubs (Doc. PB Djarum).

JAKARTA The 2025 PB Djarum Partner Club Championship, which was attended by 439 athletes from 28 PB Djarum partner clubs, has been completed at the Djarum Sports Center (GOR), Jati, Kudus, Central Java, Saturday, February 8, 2025.

The Djarum Foundation and PB Djarum Sports Service initiation competition which has been taking place since February 3, 2025, competes in four age categories, namely U-9, U-11, U-13, and U-15 women-putras. The competition is also divided into individual and team numbers.

Djarum Foundation's Director of Sports Bakti Program as well as PB Djarum Chairman Yoppy Rosimin said that this event aims to hone the skills, talents and techniques of young badminton players when competing in the middle of the competition arena.

"By meeting each other in this championship, partner club athletes can measure each other, hone their abilities and evaluate for the development of their techniques and talents in the future," said Yoppy in a statement.

In addition, this event also held a sharing session with experienced coaches in the single and double sectors such as Hendrawan and Aryono Miranat, as well as physical trainers PB Djarum Ari Subarkah. The licensed referee BWF Raventus Pongoh was also present at the session.

The session was used to share knowledge and education about the development and development of talents in their respective clubs. Thus, coaches and administrators of partner clubs can find out about the development of the badminton world.

"The goal is for them to be able to apply in training programs so that they can produce tough badminton players who can improve the glory of Indonesian badminton in the future," said Yoppy.

The 2025 PB Djarum Partners Club Championship is divided into nine match numbers. There are six events competed in the individual sector, namely the U-9 and U-11 men's and women's singles, the women's singles U-13, and the women's doubles U-13. As for the team sector, the men's and women's and children's U-13 matches.

The Chief Executive of the 2025 PB Djarum Partners Club Championship Sigit Budiarto said that the team number match was only held this year. This aims to hone the mentality and cooperation of young badminton players in playing team-by-team.

"At the international level there are team-forming events such as Polytron Superliga Junior, Suhandinata Cup, Sudirman Cup, Thomas and Uber Cup. Then at Sea Games, Asian Games there is also a team number. These regulations are our considerations," explained Sigit.

The team party received positive enthusiasm from the participants. In addition, this sector also has quite high competition tension because each club wants to reach the highest podium.

Pelatih PB Champion Klaten Pandu Dewantoro yang berhasil membuat anak pukulnya menjadi kamiun di nomor beregu mengatakan bahwa partai beregu membuat atlet-atlet tutuhannya belajar bermain secara tim dan meningkat kekompadasan.

"I think it's very good to get used to athletes competing in team numbers as early as possible because that way later they can be more mature technically and team cohesive," said Pandu.
