JAKARTA The AFC officially released the schedule for the match between the Indonesian national team and Bahrain in the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers. Different from usual, the selection of match times is held at night.

Quoted from the official AFC website on Tuesday, January 28, the match between the Indonesian vs Bahrain national team will be held at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, Jakarta. The match, which will take place on March 25, will start rolling at 20.45 WIB.

The time for organizing this match has changed from the previous schedule which was scheduled to take place at 19.00 WIB. Behind the change at that time, there was a strong reason that was the cause.

From the date of the event, it is known that the match between the Indonesian vs Bahrain national team will coincide with the month of Ramadan. Football matches during the fasting month period are usually held later than usual.

This meeting with Bahrain is an important match for the Indonesian national team. Because if in this match the Garuda Squad can collect full points, it will pave the way for the 2026 World Cup.

The Indonesian national team will undergo two matches in the third round of the 2026 World Cup Qualification in March.

The Garuda squad first visited Australia on March 20 and then hosted Bahrain on March 25. The two matches will also determine the fate of the Indonesian national team towards the 2026 World Cup.
