Without Erling Haaland Et Al, Man City Wins Eight Goals Against Manchester Legend's Team

JAKARTA - Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola simply fielded a substitute or young man to kill Salford City, a League 4 or League Two club whose shares are owned by Manchester United legends who were once called Class of 92.

Salford is not a commensurate opponent for Man City. But interestingly, Salford is a club owned by MU stars when they dominated the English Premier League last decade. In the 90s to 2000s when MU still had Davd Beckham, Gary Neville, Phil Neville, Paul Scholes, Nicky Butt to Ryan Giggs.

They dominated the Premier League when Man City was nothing more than a more medioker team struggling at the bottom. At that time, Manchester United under legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson dominated the Premier League, building competition with Arsenal and Liverpool.

Unfortunately, in the third round of the FA Cup match against Man City which became the Manchester derby at the Etihad Stadium, Sunday, January 12, 2025 in the morning WIB, Giggs et al were only able to watch Salford be completely slaughtered. Only Beckham and Gary Neville who were not present at the Etihad watched the match.

Even the Man City player who was born in Salford, James McAtee scored a hat trick at another derby. Obviously, Salford is not a match against Man City.
