JAKARTA - Napoli striker Victor Osimhen will remain in hospital under observation following a head injury he sustained during the match against Atalanta in Bergamo on Sunday.

The match ended in a 2-4 defeat for the team from Naples. Two Napoli goals were scored by Piotr Zielinski and Robin Gosens' own suicide, while Atalanta's four goals were scored by Duvan Zapata, Robin Gosens, Luis Muriel, and Cristian Romero.

The 22-year-old Nigerian national player hit the head with the field after colliding with Atalanta defender Cristian Romero in the last minutes of the match.

The defeat put Napoli in seventh place on 40 points, three points adrift of the top four.

Gennaro Gattuso's team will host Granada in the second leg of the Europa League last 32, Thursday.
