JAKARTA - The Indonesian mixed doubles Praveen Jordan / Melati Daeva Oktavianti continued their steps to the quarter-finals of the Yonex Thailand Open 2021 after overthrowing the host representatives Supak Jomkoh / Supissara Paewsampran.

In Thursday's match at Impact Arena, Bangkok, the second seeded pair eliminated Jomkoh / Paewsampran in two straight games with a score of 21-14, 22-20.

The first game was easy for Praveen / Melati who is now ranked fourth in the world. There was no significant resistance from the couple from the land of the white elephant. Praveen / Melati collected points quickly and led 21-14 in the first game.
