JAKARTA - Liga 1 2022/2023 competition will start again soon. PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB) stated that the league will start on December 5.
This certainty was obtained after PT LIB received a letter of recommendation from the police. Later, the league will continue to be concentrated in Central Java and Yogyakarta.

Teddy also expressed his highest appreciation to the government, in this case the National Police Headquarters, the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora), the Ministry of PUPR, the Ministry of Health, and also the new board of directors of PT LIB.
According to him, these various parties should be appreciated for all their efforts so that Liga 1 2022/2023, which had stagnated due to the Kanguruhan Tragedy, could be resumed.

Previously, PT LIB stated that the Liga 1 for the 2022-2023 season was officially continued from December 5, 2022, after receiving a recommendation from the police.
"This is encouraging news for us and all League 1 clubs. Thank you to the National Police Headquarters, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ministry of PUPR and the Ministry of Health for their attention and cooperation so far," said LIB President Director Ferry Paulus, as reported by Antara.
The LIB also ensures that the first round of the Indonesian League 1 2022-2023 will be completed with a centralized system or bubble in Central Java and DI Yogyakarta.
There are five stadiums used in the "bubble", namely Jatidiri Stadium (Semarang), Maguwoharjo Stadium (Sleman), Manahan Stadium (Solo), Sultan Agung Stadium (Bantul) and dr Moch Soebroto Stadium (Magelang).
"The first round will be completed by the end of December 2022. All matches (in the bubble-ed) will be held without spectators at the stadium," said Ferry.
