JAKARTA - The Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) stated that one of the goals of the Indonesian national team's uniform in the online game "Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team" is to increase the nationalism of the Indonesian people.

"We want to ignite nationalism and pride, especially generation Z, of Indonesia," said PSSI acting secretary general Yunus Nusi as quoted by Antara, Wednesday.

Generation Z itself is those who were born in the period 1995-2010. They are very close to the internet world and are sometimes called the internet generation (IGen).

In addition, the partnership between PSSI and KLab Inc, the game developer for Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team from Japan, is also intended to make the Indonesian national team uniforms better known by the public.

In this mobile game, players can choose three national team uniforms, namely the red and white home uniform, the white green away uniform and the black goalkeeper uniform.

"This is also PSSI's way of expanding its business lines into the digital world and online games," said Yunus.

PSSI announced a collaboration with game developer KLab Inc. to enter the Indonesian national team uniform into the game Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team on Monday, December 14 through their official Instagram upload @pssi.

The developer gets an official license for the Indonesian national team uniform for about four months, namely December 2020 to March 2021.
