JAKARTA Manchester United coach Erik ten Hag won the Premier League month award as the best coach in September 2022.

The 52-year-old Dutch tactician defeated Tottenham Hotspur coach Antonio Conte and Bournemouth coach Gary O' Kong.

The former Ajax coach lost his first two games against Brighton and Brentford. However, he successfully led his team to four consecutive wins after that.

He won his first two wins last August against Liverpool and Southampton. Following Leicester City and Arsenal's two wins this month.
