Napoli Wants To Borrow Keylor Navas From PSG, But Doesn't Want To Spend A Lot Of Money

JAKARTA - Serie A club Napoli are reportedly interested in borrowing Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) goalkeeper Keylor Navas. However, they do not want to pay the full salary of the player.

Napoli are reportedly only willing to pay 25 percent of the salary if the loan process is completed. This has been conveyed to the PSG.

Napoli expect PSG's answer to this request. The French Ligue 1 club is believed to have no objections.

According to the Italian Football page reported by Antara, the Costa Rican goalkeeper has a salary of 9 million euros (approximately IDR 135 billion) per season.

Napoli's desire to bring Navas is based on the desire to increase strength in the goalkeeper sector. Napoli's main goalkeeper, Alex Meret, seems unable to convince coach Luciano Spalletti.

Before the project to pursue the services of Navas, Napoli had hooked an old goalkeeper, Salvatore Sirigu. If Navas fails to sign, Napoli make Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga an alternative option.

Navas had previously signaled that he wanted to leave. He doesn't want to be a cover for Gianluigi Donnarumma at PSG.

The 35-year-old player came to PSG in the summer of 2019 from Real Madrid for a transfer fee of 15 million euros (approximately IDR 234 billion). Since arriving from Madrid, Navas has played 106 games and kept 49 clean sheets.
