JAKARTA - Witan Sulaeman's journey in Lechia Gdansk ended early. Witan and the Polish club agreed to part ways.

Witan and Lechia decided to terminate the contract. Apart from Witan, the club also released Rafal Kobryn.

"Rafal Kobryn and Witan Sulaeman terminate their contracts with the club by mutual agreement," Lechia said in a statement on their official website.

"With this, both players have the freedom to find a new club," the statement continued.

Witan joined Lechia from Serbian team, FK Radnik Surdulica in September 2021. Unfortunately, during his Bialo-Zielone uniform, the 20-year-old player did not even make his debut in a match.

In the 2021/2022 season, Witan was then loaned to a Slovak club, FK Senica, and played with Egy Maulana Vikri. There, he made 12 appearances and scored four goals.

After his loan period ended, Witan returned to Poland. He still had time to join his teammates during the new season's preparation camp at Cetniewo. Unfortunately, his presence is only to say goodbye.

"We wish Rafal and Witan every success in their future sporting careers," concluded Lechia Gdansk's statement.
