Bull Team Conquers Tiger 3-2 In Uber Cup Simulation Tournament 2020

JAKARTA - Ester Nurumi Tri Wardoyo became the winner of the Banteng team after defeating Bilqis Prasista from the Tiger team with a score of 21-13, 21-12 in the closing party of the 2020 Uber Cup Simulation Tournament on the first day. The final score for the Bulls 3-2 victory.

The Banteng team was surprisingly able to steal a victory in the fourth party through the women's doubles, which made the score 2-2. Meilysa Trias Puspita Sari / Rachel Allessya Rose defeated their seniors, Agatha Imanuella / Nita Violina Marwah with a score of 16-21, 21-17, 21-17.

"We didn't expect to win because they were quite far apart, they had more experience than us," Rachel said after the match, reported by Antara, Wednesday.

"The key to our victory is playing loose, playing carefree and calmer, we are also more resilient in this match," Meilysa added.

Meanwhile, Esther, who was the winner, won convincingly from Bilqis in two straight games.

"I control the opponent more because I know the opponent is good at the ball. I try to play without burden, even though it feels different because the position is 2-2," said Ester.

Ester admitted that she was happy to participate in this simulation tournament because she could measure her ability with older athletes.
