The Blessing Of A Total Traffic Jam In The City Of Rome Due To The G20, Sri Mulyani: Enjoying Rome Mingling With Tourists

JAKARTA - The city of Rome, Italy is completely jammed. Even the traffic in this city can stop completely. All because Rome hosted many G20 heads of state and became a summit.

Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani who was present to accompany President Jokowi was also affected. Last week, Sri Mulyani's vehicle did not move on the road due to the presence of one of the heads of state.

Instead of wasting time, Sri Mulyani decided to walk to the hotel where she was staying. And this is the right decision.

"Two days ago, I was stuck in traffic because of the presence of a head of state in the center of Rome, and decided to walk to the hotel," Sri Mulyani wrote on her Instagram account as quoted Monday, November 1.

Sri Mulyani is not alone. She was accompanied by Carla, a graduate of the school of international relations who is currently an intern at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

"While walking, I enjoyed the city of Rome mingling with tourists and seeing some historical and beautiful places such as: Fontana di Trevi, Piazza Navona," continued Sri Mulyani.

"Carla tells about the history of the Fountain which was built in 1760 and there is an interesting story that the architect who built the place was constantly criticized by the barber who was located in front of the Fountain. The architect decided to build a large flower pot in front of the Fountain - facing the barber place so that he can no longer see the fountain and no longer needs to comment on it," continued Sri Mulyani.

"Traffic jams provide benefits for walking and enjoying a bit of Rome," she concluded.
