MAKASSAR - The police stated that it was difficult to meet and summon RA, the mother of the child victim of an abuse case allegedly by his father. RA should have been asked for additional information regarding the reporting of his case in East Luwu Regency.

"Now it is difficult for RA's mother and three of the victim's children to attend. We hope that she will attend and provide additional information that will be very useful for investigators to further investigate and investigate this case," said Head of Public Relations of the South Sulawesi Police, Kombes E Zulpan, quoted by Antara, Thursday, 28 October.

According to him, RA has never attended an investigator's summons. Even the team has tried to meet both at his home and at the office of the Luwu local government agency working as an ASN, even the information obtained by the person concerned has applied for leave

However, for the development of the case, said the middle-ranking police officer, the East Luwu Police investigator has summoned the reporter RA and the victim's child's aunt to develop information regarding the handling of the case. However, the victim's aunt said she was ready to attend.

"With the presence of the victim's child's aunt, it will help a little. It is hoped that it can provide more information for investigators to collect other required information," he said.

Zulpan emphasized that this case received serious attention from the National Police Headquarters because an assessment was being carried out, including seeking additional information on the case.

The police are still focused on carrying out the investigation according to the new findings of the post-mortem results from the PT Vale Hospital, through doctor Imelda who said there was inflammation in the genitals of the victim's child.

"That's what we want to explore. That's why we need the presence of these three children. A doctor's recommendation is like that, to be examined again by an obstetrician," he explained.

When asked how the report was handled, in this case the father of the three victims suspected of committing sexual abuse with the initials SF, he said, his statement had been taken at the South Sulawesi Regional Police.

"Yesterday, the statement from the Regional Police was taken, it is still a provisional statement. In essence, all citizens have the same position in the eyes of the law.
