Viral Girl Kidnapped In Pesanggrahan, The Perpetrator Is Arrested By The Police

JAKARTA - The kidnapping case of a 3-year-old boy with the initials PR in Pesanggrahan, South Jakarta, went viral on social media. The police managed to catch the perpetrator.

The news of this kidnapping was also uploaded to the Instagram account @info_ciledug. The victim's parents also reported a case of kidnapping by a woman to the Pesanggrahan Police and South Jakarta Police on Monday, 27 July.

Upon this report, the police moved to find the whereabouts of the kid who was kidnapped. The day after the report, the police detected the kidnapped boy.

"Today we can arrest the perpetrators including (rescuing) their child (PR) who was secured in the Muncul area, Tangerang Regency," said South Jakarta Police Chief Kombes Budi Sartono to reporters, Tuesday, July 28.

According to him, the perpetrator with the initials P knew PR and had lived near the victim's house. However, Budi has not provided complete information regarding the motive for the kidnapping.

"What is certain is that the perpetrator lived in the area where the victim lived so that he (P) knew him. But whether he knows what he is, let the investigator process it," said Budi.
