Aceh Police Prepares Lottery Of 10 Umrah Tickets For COVID-19 Vaccination Participants

MEULABOH - Aceh Police Chief Inspector General Ahmad Haydar said his party provided a lottery in the form of 10 Umrah tickets for people in Aceh who took part in the COVID-19 vaccination program.

"This Umrah gift package is valid throughout Aceh," he said in Meulaboh, quoted by Antara, Monday, October 25.

This affirmation was conveyed by the Kapolda after attending a gathering with the West Aceh Regent, forkompimda, ulama, and community leaders at the local district pendapa in Meulaboh.

He said the raffle for the Umrah prize would begin on November 10, as an effort to accelerate the increase in vaccination rates for all Acehnese.

"We are working with Hipmi (Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association) Aceh," he said.

In fact, towards the end of 2021, the Kapolda Inspector General Ahmad Haydar also said that his party would also hold a raffle with prizes for Umrah for the people of Aceh who took part in the COVID-19 vaccination program.

"We make sure, by the end of 2021, the number of Umrah prizes will be even more," he said.

The Aceh Police targets the first dose of vaccination for all Acehnese by the end of 2021 to reach 50 percent.

In addition, the Kapolda also praised the steps taken by the West Aceh District Government which has now been able to increase vaccinations for all people in the area, reaching 37 percent of the total local population.
