Illegal Pinjol Cleanup, Metro Police Again Raid Pinjol's Office In Cengkareng

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya again raided the online loan office (pinjol). A total of six cases of this pinjol have been revealed in the Jakarta area and its surroundings after the order of the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo to eradicate it.

"That's true (the raid on the pinjol office)," said the Head of Public Relations of the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Yusri Yunus, to reporters on Monday, October 25.

This time, the loan office that was raided was on Jalan Komplek MoRA, Cengkareng, West Jakarta. However, Yusri did not elaborate further on the number of perpetrators until the evidence was secured.

Previously, five cases of illegal online loans (pinjol) had been revealed. The case revealed the use of 105 illegal loan applications.

"From the 5 TKP (cases) there are 105 illegal loan applications," said Yusri.

From this case, the police named 13 suspects. They are employees to supervisors of online loan companies.

"First in Evidence Indah there are 4 suspects, second Indo Tekno Nusantara at Ruko Green Lake, Banten 3 suspects. Then, in Karet 1 person, Tanah Abang Central Jakarta 2 people and in Kelapa Dua South Tangerang 3. In total there are 13 that we have determined as a suspect," said Yusri.
