JAKARTA - Head of the Jakarta Manpower and Transmigration Agency (Disnakertrans) Andri Yansyah, asked the company to understand that the number of transitional PSBB supervisors in the capital city is not proportional to the number of companies in the city.

"We are few in number, there are 58 people divided by 25 teams. One team of 2 people supervises in the field. Meanwhile, the number of companies we supervise is 78,000," Andri told reporters, Monday, July 27.

Therefore, Andri asked companies to be public or not to hide the transmission of COVID-19 in the work environment. Because, this transmission can create a new COVID-19 cluster in the workplace.

"We ask for cooperation from the company. Don't cover it up, we didn't do anything anyway. Instead, make the company healthy and be able to go back to activities," said Andri.

According to him, if there is one employee who tests positive for COVID-19, there are procedures that the company management must carry out in their office environment. First, employees who are positive are required to undergo treatment or self-isolation for 14 days.

This case must be reported to the DKI Disnakertrans. Because, after receiving the report, the Manpower and Transmigration Office will carry out contact tracing and find out who interacts with the positive COVID-19 employee.

"People who interact with exposed employees are also subjected to a rapid test. If it is reactive, then a swab test must be done. Well, if he is positive, he must also do independent isolation or hospitalization," said Andri.

As for the offices, they have to close down to be sterilized for a few days. In Governor Regulation Number 51 of 2020, the company closure period is run for a minimum of 1 day.

"We take a policy of closing the office for 3 working days. That 3 working days must be carried out for the company to sterilize the company including its environment," said Andri.

Until now, there have been at least 59 COVID-19 clusters in Jakarta offices. This cluster, said Andri, will continue to grow. This is because recently there was a COVID-19 infection in other offices, such as Okezone, Eximbank, and Siemens.

As for the 59 COVID-19 clusters in office environments, 17 of them are within the scope of ministries, 30 are regional, central and BUMN agencies with offices in DKI, and 12 others are in private companies. The list of office clusters is as follows.
