Polda Metro Jaya Ready To Examine New Witness In Rachel Vennya's Case

JAKARTA - Investigators from the Polda Metro Jaya are ready to examine a new witness in the case of Rachel Vennya's escape while undergoing isolation at the Covid-19 Emergency Hospital (RSDC) Wisma Atlet Pademangan Jakarta after a vacation from abroad.

"There will be another witness examination later. From the results of the temporary clarification there are several witnesses," said the Director of General Crime Investigation of the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Tubagus Ade Hidayat, quoted from ANTARA, Saturday, October 23.

When asked about who the witnesses were, Tubagus was reluctant to explain who the witnesses would be questioning.

"The witness is in accordance with the needs of the investigation," he added.

Celebrity Rachel Vennya was questioned by investigators from Polda Metro Jaya on Thursday night, October 21, regarding her act of escaping from the isolation process at the Wisma Atlet Pademangan Hospital in Jakarta, after returning from a vacation from abroad.

Rachel arrived at Polda Metro Jaya at around 14.00 WIB and finished her examination at around 23.00 WIB.

Rachel exits the General Criminal Investigation Directorate of the Metro Jaya Police with her manager, Maulida Khairunnia and her boyfriend Salim Nauderer.

During the examination, Rachel was asked 35 questions by the Polda Metro Jaya investigators regarding her actions. After undergoing the examination, Rachel apologized to the public for the noise it caused.

"I, Maulida, and Salim, want to express our deepest apologies to all the people for our mistakes and mistakes that have disturbed the community," Rachel said at the Jakarta Metro Police.

Later, the police investigated the RFS plate of Rachel Vennya's car, which also became a concern after being questioned at Polda Metro Jaya. As a result, either closing the account or being suspended by Instagram, Rachel Ven's account was lost.
