JAKARTA - The trial of the code of ethics against the head of the Sector Police in Parigi Moutong Regency, Central Sulawesi, who is suspected of committing immoral acts was held, Saturday, October 23. From the results of the trial, the police chief with the rank of Iptu was declared to have violated ethics and was recommended to be dishonorably dismissed or fired.

The trial was closed for approximately five hours, in the courtroom of the Code of Ethics for the Professional and Security Sector of the Central Sulawesi Regional Police.

"The Central Sulawesi Police has held a hearing on the National Police Professional Code of Ethics Commission led by the Head of the Propam Division of the Central Sulawesi Police, Police Commissioner Ian Rizkian Milyardin, with a decision in the form of a recommendation for dishonorable dismissal (PTDH)," said Central Sulawesi Police Chief Inspector General Rudy Sufahriadi. quoted from ANTARA, Saturday, October 23.

The Head of the Sector Police with the initials Inspector of Police One IDGN has been proven to have committed the acts as referred to in Article 13 and Article 14 paragraph (1) letter b of Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 1/2003 concerning Dismissal of Police Members. And article 7 paragraph (1) letter b and article 11 letter c of the National Police Chief Regulation Number 14/2011 concerning the Police Professional Code of Ethics.

The head of the Sector Police in Parigi Moutong was fired based on an ethics trial. However, based on the decision recommending dismissal, Inspector of Police First IGDN will appeal. "Against PTDH's recommendation decision, First Police Inspector IDGN declared an appeal," said Sufahriadi.

Previously, the Head of Public Relations of the Central Sulawesi Police, Police Commissioner Didik Supranoto said that the general criminal case by this person was still under investigation by investigators from the General Criminal Investigation Directorate of the Central Sulawesi Police.

"Currently we are still examining witnesses and if the investigation is deemed sufficient, then a case will be held to determine whether or not it can be increased to the investigation stage," he said.

From this investigation, Supranoto said, another case will be held to determine who the suspect is. Previously, an unscrupulous police chief in Parigi Moutong Regency, Central Sulawesi, was suspected of having committed immoral acts against a woman there.

The head of the Sector Police with the initials Inspector of Police One IDGN is suspected of immorality with a teenage girl with the initials S with a promise to release her father, who is a suspect and serve his sentence. Until the act was carried out, IDGN had not released the woman's father.

Sufahriadi also visited the victim's house and promised the family would solve the case and take action against the police who were found guilty.
