For the Commander, the 20th PON which is running in an orderly manner is proof that Papua is a safe area.
"The world sees that in the implementation of PON XX, Papua is safe, Papua has developed rapidly and is on par with other regions in Indonesia," said TNI Commander Marshal TNI Hadi Tjahjanto.
On that occasion, the National Police Chief Sigit also expressed his gratitude directly to the TNI soldiers and the police who kept PON XX running in a safe and orderly manner.
"I give the highest appreciation for several activities that have been carried out by all colleagues, especially during the implementation of XX PON and post-PON," said the National Police Chief.
