12-year-old Elementary School Students In Tangerang To Be Vaccinated, Here's The Schedule

TANGERANG – A total of 5,305 elementary school students aged 12 years will be vaccinated from 18 to 27 October 2021. The good news was conveyed by the Head of the Tangerang Banten City Health Office, Dr. Dini Anggraeni in Tangerang.

He conveyed that this vaccination activity was an effort to suppress the spread and implementation of face-to-face learning (PTM) was limited.

"The type of vaccine used is Pfizer. The implementation will be held at the sub-district level in locations that have been determined by the Dindik. In fact, participants have already received an invitation barcode that has been sent by the Health Office through the school," explained Dr. Dini, Saturday, October 16.

He also explained that the requirements for vaccine participants include having their 12th birthday on September 30, 2021, maximum on the date of implementation. Then the child or student is in good health and monitored. Bring your identity card or family card and bring the invitation barcode.

"We need support and participation from all parties. So that student vaccination efforts can run optimally," said Dr. Dini.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Tangerang City Education Office, Jamaluddin, said that all schools had approached all parents. Moreover, coordinating to prepare the condition of their children before receiving the COVID-19 vaccine, on the date of implementation.

"In addition to data collection, Dindik has also determined 14 locations in 13 sub-districts which have also been socialized to guardians of students through each school. If there are guardians of students who feel that their children have not been vaccinated and have not been recorded, they can directly register with each school," he said.

For information, until now the achievement of vaccination in Tangerang City has reached 1,279,584 people at dose one and 855,570 people at dose two.
