KPK Investigate Rp1.5 Billion Suspect Of Bribery Dodi Alex Noerdin, Why Was It Brought To Jakarta?

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is still investigating the alleged bribery case of the Musi Banyuasin Regent (Muba) Dodi Reza Alex Noerdin and a number of his subordinates.

Because, in addition to securing Rp270 million in money from the Head of the PUPR Office of Muba Regency Herman Mayori who was arrested at a place of worship in Muba Regency, the KPK also confiscated Rp1.5 billion in a bag that was brought by Dodi and his aide at a hotel in Jakarta.

"The person concerned (Dodi and his aide) is in Jakarta and when they look at the vehicle there is a red bag. When asked to take it, it was opened for Rp. 1.5 billion. It became something interesting for investigators based on these findings," said KPK Investigation Director Setyo Budiyanto at the KPK's Red and White Building, Saturday, October 16.

The interesting thing that Setyo meant was what was the reason Dodi and his aide brought Rp 1.5 billion to Jakarta. Setyo said the KPK would explore what the purposes and purposes of the money were.

"It will be investigated where it came from, the intent and purpose of the money being brought for what it was needed. Later, hopefully we can get evidence," said Setyo.

Meanwhile, Dodi, who had just come out of the KPK building wearing an orange vest, was still reluctant to explain about the bribery case that ensnared him and the purpose of bringing money to Jakarta.

"I'll explain later," said Dodi briefly before getting into the prisoner's car. The KPK detained the Musi Banyuasin Regent Dodi Reza Alex Noerdin at the KPK Detention Center for the alleged bribery case of the Musi Banyuasin Regency (Muba) infrastructure project. Previously, Dodi had been named a suspect.

For information, Dodi is a Golkar party cadre who serves as Chairman of the Golkar DPD South Sumatra. Likewise with his father, Alex Noerdin, who is also a Golkar cadre.

In the bribery case for the Muba Regency project, Dodi engineered the tender process for four Muba Regency Government projects so that PT Selaras Simpati Nusantara won the project.

In this alleged bribery case, Dodi has determined that he will receive a 10 percent commitment fee, Head of the PUPR Office of Muba Regency Herman Mayori gets a fee of 3 to 5 percent, and the PPK of the PUPR Office of Muba Regency Eddi Umari gets 2 to 3 percent, and other related parties.

For Dodi himself, he received a commitment fee of Rp. 2.6 billion from the Director of PT Selaras Simpati Nusantara Suhandy.

"As a realization of the commitment fee given by SUH for winning the 4 work package projects at the PUPR Service, it is suspected that SUH (Suhandy) has handed over some of the money to DRA (Dodi) through HM (Herman) and EU (Eddi)," explained Alexander.

"From this activity, the KPK team in addition to securing Rp270 million in money, also secured money in the MRD (regent's aide) Rp1.5 billion," he continued.

In addition to Dodi, the KPK also appointed two of Dodi's subordinates, namely the Head of the PUPR Service of Muba Regency Herman Mayori and the PPK of the Muba Regency PUPR Office, Eddi Umari, and the Director of PT Selaras Simpati Nusantara Suhandy.
