Owner Of Warteg In Matraman Has Prepared Baby's Name, But Changed It For Anies: Just Choose The Name The Governor Gave

JAKARTA - The owner of a warteg in Matraman, East Jakarta is willing to change the name of the baby he chose because he received a name suggestion from the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan.

He admitted this after Anies visited his warteg. Anies named the baby Permata Annisa Nusantara.

"I've already prepared (name), but because I was given a name from the Governor (Anies), I just chose the governor," said Jessica, who is the mother of the baby, to reporters, Thursday, October 14.

Jessica explained the meaning of the name given by the former Minister of Education and Culture. He said, Permata Annisa Nusantara are women who bring benefits to Indonesia.

"The point is that the women are Nusantara, so, so, women who are useful for the archipelago," said Jessica.

Even though she didn't use the name she previously chose, Jessica said she was happy. "Happy, proud to be the first child to be named by the governor," he said.

Anies named a grandson of the owner of the Warteg Family when he visited the warteg in the Matraman number. This was done when holding the Large-Scale Social Collaboration (KSBB) program.

KSBB is run to meet the food needs of residents affected by COVID-19 by cooperating with warteg owners spread across five administrative city areas.

At that moment, Anies appreciated the collaborators and other stakeholders who took part in data collection, funding, supervision, verification of purchase transactions, socialization, and distribution for the sustainability of this program.

"The important role of all those involved is to make this Food KSBB activity run smoothly and provide benefits to the underprivileged. We must continue to maintain and strengthen the solidarity, concern and sense of community of the people of Jakarta. Through the Food KSBB program, we work hand in hand with the hope of collaboration This can improve the economy of warteg in DKI Jakarta Province," said Anies.
